120,000 people are on their way to Åre for the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships. Make sure to take it easy in traffic so you reach the event!
During the event there will be temporary changes to the speed limit in Åre. Roads in central Åre will also be temporarily closed during the event. Get traffic updates with our traffic information, see link below.
- Start your journey in good time so you don't have to rush.
- Keep your distance from other vehicles.
- Adjust your speed to the road conditions and respect the speed limits.
- You will get help with parking from the World Ski Championship organisers, follow their directions for safe parking.
- Finally, do not walk along the E14 road - this could be dangerous.
