Consultation prior to the application to the Land and Environment Court

As a step in the planning for the construction of the West Link and Olskroken Project, we will apply for a permit from the Land and Environment Court. In connection with the application, we have had consultation with those concerned.

The construction of the West Link and the Olskroken Projects can have an impact on the surroundings in various ways. The impact is regulated by legislation in the Environmental Code, which means that we need to apply for a permit for our activities from the Land and Environment Court. We will apply for permit of water-related activities, as well as for other impacts from the constructions such as noise and vibrations.

Consultation

Before applying to the Land and Environment court, we have had consultation with the general public and individuals who are especially affected, as well as with authorities and organisations. The consultation was held from the 15th of April until the 10th May 2015, and offered an opportunity for us to obtain information of importance for our investigations. It was also an opportunity for the general public and property owners to express their opinions and submit their statements, and in that way also influence our work that concern water-related activities and the impact of the construction work from the West Link and Olskroken Projects.

What happens next?

Now that the consultation phase is completed, we will review and deal with those statements that that have been submitted during the period. We will then continue with the work on the application to the Land and Environment Court. We are planning to submit our application to the court at the end of 2015, beginning of 2016.
