The County Administrative Board approves the railway plan for the West Link

The County Administrative Board of Västra Götaland supports the West Link railway plan. The plan can therefore continue to the next step in the planning process.

– The fact that the County Administrative Board has now approved the railway plan means that we can continue as planned and submit the plan for establishment in the beginning of September. During the work on the railway plan, we have continuously consulted with the County Administrative Board, but of course we will go over the final statement in detail in our continuing work, says Bo Larsson, Project Director at the Swedish Transport Administration.

Once the plan has been established, it can be appealed. If that happens, the Government makes a decision on the matter.

When the railway plan has been submitted for establishment, all those who submitted statements during the review of the railway plan will receive feedback through a review report.

The review report contains personal data and will not be published online. However, the document will be made available via the Swedish Transport Administration registry when the plan has been submitted for establishment.
