The project has decided to use the SUNRA tool when working with sustainability. SUNRA is a common framework for sustainability work used by European road agencies. The themes that have been selected from the tool are adaptation to a changed climate, limited climate impact, noise and vibrations, equality and social balance, cultural heritage, air quality, land as a resource, natural resource management, staff involvement, water resources and quality, processes and economic conditions. Objectives have been established for these themes.
Preliminary inspections began in April, and will be ready before construction begins in the various areas affected by the construction of the West Link. We are inspecting all buildings within 150 metres of the West Link and the Olskroken level separation, as well as nearby buildings with sensitive foundations.
