The Stockholm bypass project is unfrozen

The Government has announced the unfreezing of the Stockholm bypass from the 1st of January 2015.

The project can resume production from this date. The preparatory work in the field that was interrupted when the project was frozen in October 2014, can resume immediately. The preparations for the tunneling work and the three temporary jetties can continue as planned.

We will also be ready to issue a large number of procurements to the market, as the Government has decided to unfreeze the project.

- The delay has major implications on the schedule for the procurement, says project manager Johan Brantmark. A new tender programme will be published on this website within a few weeks. Procurements worth around 1.2 billion euro will go out gradually to the market during 2015.
