Judicial decisions for the rock tunnel contracts under Lovön

The administrative court of appeal has notified judicial decisions regarding the NCC´s appeal of the Swedish Transport Administrations award of the two rock tunnel contracts under Lovön.

The administrative court of appeal finds in an overall assessment that there is no reason to make a different assessment than the Administrative Court and the NCC's appeal is denied.

After a standstill period of 10 days has expired the Swedish Transport Administration can sign the contracts, in accordance with the Administrative Court of appeals judicial decision, with JV Vianini CMC who in January was awarded the two contracts.

The rock tunnel contracts for the North and South of Lovö, FSE 302 and FSE 308, was awarded to the Italian Consortium JV Vianini CMC. NCC Construction appealed against the award that now has been for judicial decision by the Administrative Court of appeal.

The contracts includes the construction of two access tunnels, two temporary jetties, ramp tunnels and main tunnels for the Stockholm bypass under Lovön.

The Administrative Court of appeal's decision can be appealed within 10 days.
