JV Vianini CMC has been awarded to build the rock tunnels under Lovön

The italian contractor JV Vianini in joint venture with CMC will build two major rock tunnels under Lovön, the middle part of the Stockholm Bypass.

The two contracts for the rock tunnels in Norra and Södra Lovö, FSE302 och FSE308, includes two access tunnels, two temporary jetties, ramptunnels and main tunnels. Start of construction is planned in January/February 2016 and the building period is about six years.

The total contract value of the works is about 3.7 billion SEK. The decision can be appealed within ten days of the contract being awarded according the Public Procurement Act.
