The EC declaration is the supplier's proof, or for composite products the Swedish Transport Administration's proof, that delivered products meet European requirements.
The EC declaration is required so that changes to installations can be approved by the Swedish Transport Agency in accordance with the approval process.
The EC declaration must be registered in ERADIS (European Railway Agency Database of Interoperability and Safety), but is also published here to simplify processing.
