How to pay

Find out how to pay for your test and what to do if you need to cancel.

How to pay

You can pay in the booking service with Swish or a payment card (VISA or MasterCard), or with Swish directly at reception. You can also pay by invoice. The receipt can be found under the Payments tab in the booking service.

Guardians of minors can log in to our booking service to book and pay for tests for the minor.

Booking and paying

If you are under 18 years of age

If you are under 18 years of age when the booking is made, you must pay at least 25 hours before the test is scheduled to start, otherwise the test will be cancelled. If you are booking for category A1 or AM for the first time, you will also pay the photo fee when you book. This will prevent you incurring any debt with us.

Cancelling or changing your test time

If you need to cancel your test, please bear in mind that this must be done at least 24 hours before the test. Your test fee will then be refunded automatically. You will still have to pay the test fee if you cancel late.

If you fall ill

You will not have to pay the test fee if you can prove that you cancelled the test due to illness or for similar reasons. To obtain a refund, attach a medical certificate to the form and also state why you were unable to take the test and why you could not cancel in time.
You must also state your name, personal ID number and your contact details.

If you turn up for your test despite being ill, you may not be allowed to take your test.

You can cancel your test 24 hours a day using the booking service or by calling 0771 17 18 19.

If you do not turn up for the test

You will still have to pay the test fee if you fail to turn up for your test for any reason. This is applicable even if you are unable to attend your test in time due to hold-ups on public transport or traffic jams, for example.

If you are not allowed to take the test

There may be reasons why you are not allowed to take the test. You may be unable to produce valid and acceptable ID, for instance, or your compulsory training may no longer be valid. You will still have to pay the test fee.
