The Swedish Transport Administration sets requirements for anti-discrimination when procuring contracts. Once in each twelve-month period during the contract period, a supplier who has a contract agreement with the Swedish Transport Administration must send a sworn oath to the Swedish Transport Administration.
The Swedish Transport Administration imposes the anti-discrimination condition in accordance with the Regulation on anti-discrimination conditions in procurement contracts (2006:260). As a supplier to the Swedish Transport Administration, you must be able to report your work on active measures under the Discrimination Act (2008:567).
You shall also, upon request, submit a sworn oath. This sworn oath must state whether you, or an employee for whom you are responsible, violated a criminal provision or a prohibition relating to discrimination. You do this, if we request it, on a form found below. You can read about what information we are asking for in the form.
The purpose of the requirement is to combat discrimination. No people may be exploited or mistreated, laws shall be followed and competition shall be fair.
